They utilise their craft skills in weaving, making items often decorated with tassels, beads or shells, which are traded for goods they could not produce. These bags have now been turned into wonderful small decorative cushions. The pieces were probably made more than half a century ago, perhaps even nearer 100 years. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach cushion in this curated collection is hand-knotted using vegetable dyes and hand-spun wool. Both sides of the bags were knotted, and so they are completely reversible; they will have some signs of age, which is to be expected and enjoyed.
